Chinese films and stars presented at Berlin film festival (2000-02-12)

Berline - China's Zhang Yimou won a Silver Bear at 50th Berlin Film Festival for directing ''The Road Home,'' a poetic fable about the process of change in China. Zhang paid tribute to Gong Li , who has featured in many of his movies, and also praised the city of Berlin, where he was previously honored for his film ``Red Sorghum''12 years ago.

``Berlin is a city I will always hold dear in my memory,'' Zhang told the awards ceremony.
